It might be hard to think about yourself at this time, but you will be a better parent if you care for yourself too. Ask for help from your friends and family as much as possible. Think about using babysitters or daycare to give yourself some time alone. Remember what your child needs most: a sense of security and connection with you. Do what you can to maintain routines and preserve “together time.”
