I feel guilty moving forward in my life without him.

Many people are surprised to find that they are troubled when they start to feel okay again. This discomfort may be due to guilt about living when someone important to us has died. Giving ourselves permission to feel better takes bravery.

The good news is that you can choose how to deal with your grief. It can be scary to realize that we have sole responsibility for our choices, and thus our happiness. Happiness is a right that only we can claim. Sometimes all we need is the courage to take it.
